HIT OFFICE EXPANDING ITS PRODUCTION CAPACITY

The company is further expanding its production capacity. It is now completing a new 1,500 sq m energy-efficient building to house 5 new automatic machines for the production of paper trays, bowls and plates ....

The paper group has reported record numbers for the second year in a row. “Last year was the best year ever for the group. The best result was achieved by the group’s core company, HIT OFFICE, which produced 29% more paper than in the previous year,” says Mr Šťastný, Executive Director.

“It is always necessary to be prepared for a change in the development of demand, which has been fully confirmed for us in the post-covid era. We did not wait with folded arms, but actively prepared for what would come afterwards,” says Šťastný, listing several investments the company has made in recent years.

HIT OFFICE has commissioned a new 2,300 sq m material warehouse with its own 151.2 kWp photovoltaic power plant. “We bought materials for the new warehouse and increased our stock by one hundred percent and our production capacity by twenty-three percent,” he recalls of the beginning of last year when customers recovered from the pandemic and started buying again. “Those who stood behind and waited, kept on waiting, because when the demand returned, they had nothing to produce from,” says the Executive Director of HIT OFFICE, which, owing to the abundance of material and production capacity, managed to secure not only old customers, but also to attract new ones.

The company is further expanding its production capacity. It is now completing a new 1,500 sq m energy-efficient building to house 5 new automatic machines for the production of paper trays, bowls and plates, which will sport a new design. All products are made from FSC® certified and recyclable materials.

The building will be equipped with a heat pump and an additional photovoltaic plant installed on the roof. In 2022, the production of paper cups was transferred to newly renovated premises using a modern printing press.

HIT OFFICE perceives substantial potential in expanding cooperation with multinational chains. “They are now looking for European manufacturers who are safer and, above all, more sustainable in terms of risk management. This is why we are participating in the PLMA trade fair in Amsterdam 2023, as we are the leading European manufacturer of paper food packaging, including the production of plastic-free paper cups. Our plant and our products are certified by renowned companies,” concludes Jiří Št'astný.
