Blue Angel (Der blaue Engel) is German certification of products and services which meets requirements of environmental friendliness. Blue Angel is the first ecolabel in the world,it was created in 1978 and identifies about 10,000 products of 80 categories. Its goal is to inform consumers about products that are environmentally friendly.
